You know who you are.  I don't have to say your name.  But I would like to thank you for the sacrifice you made.  A pair of combat boots ..in a closet tucked away is all that you have left ..for the price you had to pay. 
Chorus:  once a soldier.. always a hero every man and woman.. who fought for Uncle Sam deserves a golden medal.. and a pedestal on high.  For those of you still living and for those who had to die once a Soldier always a hero.
